A few years ago, our practice was introduced to the book, The Power of Moments, at a PGI training. Although this book was not the focus of the training, it proved to be one of our most valuable take-aways and has been integrated into our culture and foundational concepts in the Shoreline New Team Member Bootcamp.

Authors Chip and Dan Heath review the science behind how our minds digest and retain experiences; arguing that we must be intentional about being the authors of key moments and experiences in the lives of the people we interact with. The content of this book is equally relevant to us in the healthcare industry, as well as in our personal relationships as friends, spouses/partners, and parents.

The interview below is a great introduction to the key concepts of this book. Check it out!
